Texas A&M advises:
"What To Do If You Find Bees:
* Do not distrub a swarm or colony.
* Bees should not be allowed to live in a house or other structure. The longer a colony lives in a structure the more defensive they will become and the more costly removal and repair will become.
* Call a professional bee removal service or pest control operator."
Bee Proofing Your Property - Texas A&M Honey Bee Lab (tamu.edu)

We work with homeowners and commercial establishments to remove bees that have taken up residence in their structures. After the removal, we repair the damage done by the bees. If honey or honeycomb is left in there, it can cause damage to the structure and attract future bees and additional pests. We also repair the damage done by the removal, making every effort to restore the property so no trace of the work is visible. We take pictures as we work so that the owner can see the extent of the hive and the process required to remove and repair it. We take great pride in what we do and make every effort not to harm the bees in the process of relocating them.

Our Assessment is FREE and we provide a complete explanation of the process to ensure customer understanding and satisfaction.

HOW WE CAN HELP YOU
In the interest of preserving honey bees, an important contributor to our agriculture and food supply, we have been removing and relocating them to new hive boxes for their safety. As beneficial as they are, their infestation in homes and commercial buildings can be very damaging. We remove the hives, being as careful as possible to do as little damage as we can.
After removal the necessary damage is repaired, and their point of entrance is sealed to prevent reinfestation.
Free Bee Inspection
Upon inspection, you will receive a detailed explanation of the process, and any questions you have will be answered. You will be given a quote at that time, and an appointment will be scheduled for the removal. Sometimes the job can be done the same day.
Swarm Removal
Sometimes migrating swarms will land on a tree, car, fence, container, compost bin, or even lodge itself inside a utility box. We can capture and relocate them before they set up a hive if we are contacted soon. This keeps the cost lower.
Here are examples of what can be built by bees completely out of sight to the owner. If allowed to remain, the hive will damage walls and ceilings, and also attract other insects.
Bees build their honeycomb when entering through an opening as small as 3/8 of an inch in a structure. The owner usually notices bees flying in and out of the small entrance.
After locating the hive, the structure has to be opened, the bees calmed, the hive removed, and the damage repaired. It is a complicated process requiring specialized equipment.
Structural Live Removals + Repairs
Whether bees are entering through an eave, wall, or soffit of any structure, a beehive can be present for a long time before you notice signs of it. We can remove the bees alive, extract the honeycomb, and complete the repairs.
